  • improve the App (analytics, debugging, performance monitoring)
  • comply with legal obligations

4. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

Where UK/EU GDPR applies, we process personal data under these legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the App and features you request
  • Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the App, prevent abuse, and maintain analytics (balanced against your rights)
  • Consent: where required (e.g., optional marketing, certain permissions)
  • Legal obligation: to comply with law enforcement or regulatory requirements

5. How we share your information

A. With other users (as part of the App)

  • your display name, avatar, and content may be visible to users in your tables/squads/chats

We use third-party providers to operate the App, such as:

  • cloud hosting, databases, storage for images/files
  • authentication providers (e.g., Sign in with Google/Apple)
  • analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring

(For example, if you use Firebase/Google Cloud services, they may process data on our behalf to provide hosting, authentication, database, cloud functions, and storage.)

C. For legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect users, prevent fraud/abuse, enforce our Terms, or respond to lawful requests.

D. Business transfers

If we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries outside the UK/EEA. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

7. Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed to:

  • provide the App,
  • comply with legal obligations,
  • resolve disputes,
  • enforce agreements.

Typical retention examples:

  • account data is kept while your account is active
  • chats and uploads may remain available to other users in the same table/squad, even if you leave (depending on how the feature is designed), unless deletion is required by law or technically feasible without breaking conversation history
  • logs/crash data are usually kept for a limited period for diagnostics

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (UK/EEA and similar jurisdictions), you may have rights to:

  • access your data
  • correct your data
  • delete your data
  • restrict or object to processing
  • data portability
  • withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

To exercise rights, contact us at karumsehmi7@gmail.com.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK ICO or your local regulator.

The App is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we collected data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

11. Push notifications and communications

We may send you service notifications (e.g., invites, chat messages, challenge updates). You can disable notifications in your device settings or in-app settings (if available).

12. Cookies / Tracking (Website and in-app webviews)

If you visit our website or view web content inside the App, cookies or similar technologies may be used for basic functionality, analytics, or security. Where required, we will request consent.
