1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What the App is (Entertainment Only)

YouOnIt? is a social sports predictions and challenges app. It is designed for entertainment and community play.

3. Eligibility and Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent/guardian.

If local laws require a higher age for similar services, you must meet that age.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You may not impersonate others or create accounts in a misleading way.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Tables, Squads, Friends, and Invites

The App may allow you to join or create groups ("tables"/"squads"), add friends, invite others to challenges, and participate in chats. You agree to:

• use these features respectfully, and
• not harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

6. Virtual Items (Chips/Tokens)

If the App provides virtual chips/tokens/points:

• they are licensed to you for use in the App only,
• they have no monetary value,
• they cannot be transferred outside the App, sold, or exchanged, and
• we may modify, reset, or remove them to maintain fairness, prevent abuse, or improve the App.

7. User Content (Chats, Images, Messages, Profiles)

You may be able to post or upload content ("User Content") such as messages, images, profile info, and challenge posts.

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content as needed to operate the App, including showing it to users you interact with (e.g., people in your table/squad/chat).

You promise that:

• you have the rights to the content you post, and
• your content does not violate these Terms or the law.

8. Community Rules (What you must not do)

You agree not to:

• post illegal, hateful, abusive, sexually explicit, or violent content;
• bully, harass, or stalk others;
• share others' personal information without permission (doxing);
• upload malware or attempt to hack, exploit, or reverse engineer the App;
• manipulate systems (spam, fake accounts, coordinated abuse, automation);
• attempt to use the App for real-money gambling, payments, or cash prizes;
• infringe intellectual property rights.

9. Moderation and Enforcement

We may (but are not required to) monitor, review, remove, or restrict access to User Content or accounts, including for:

• suspected violations of these Terms,
• safety reasons,
• legal compliance,
• protecting the App's integrity (spam, abuse, cheating).

10. Third-Party Services and Data

The App may display sports fixtures, results, and related information sourced from third parties. This information may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. We do not guarantee accuracy and are not responsible for third-party services.

11. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, software, and content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our permission.

12. Availability, Changes, and Updates

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or part) at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (e.g., in-app notice). Continued use after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
• we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill;
• our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the greater of £100 or the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under law (e.g., fraud, death/personal injury caused by negligence where applicable).

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

16. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for legal/safety reasons. Some provisions (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
